During the summer of 2020, COVID-19 forced changes everywhere, and the Tea Room was no exception. 

 

Hours, seating and payment were adjusted to reflect the need to be socially responsible and safe. Masks were required to be served and one person/family group was admitted to the Tea Room at a time. Picnic tables were set up outside and payment was required by exact change or checks. And for the first time, a PF Member Tea Room Tab was instituted, and proved to be successful.

The popular PF Tea Room Gift Shop continued with limited items for sale -- PF fleece vests, T-shirts and PF memorabilia. It was operated in the former mail room, with an entrance from the porch, on the Route 191 side of the building. We hope to continue next year.

We don't know yet what the summer of 2021 will bring, but we will be sure to let you know!

The Tea Room is a wonderfully sweet, vintage  PF tradition and we are grateful to the Tea Room Committee for making all of these adjustments this year.
